Week 29: Presentation / tutorial / situating your work.

In my tutorial with Clare she suggest I put up/ displayed the pieces I have produced to date and see how each piece works with the other, pare down and possibly include new pieces if necessary.

So my next stage is the edit.

I also discussed how I get from my arrangements of objects and photocopies to a finished piece. I wanted to try the Riso printer to see if that might be a route.

This interest I have with the surface and it’s relationship with what is underneath It, leads me to the think I should hang muslin and allow the colours and light to seep though.

May be an installation.

This may not work as I like the calm of contemplation, including light may make it confusing.

The presentation will come from the edit but I am Still trying to pin point the situation.

I need to explore what interest me in my work and display they rather than trying to guess what my audience wants. I do find this a switch around after working with people who employed me to paint what they wanted for so long.
