It’s been really interesting picking apart the journals and publications shown to us. I’m not sure why I haven’t realised there were so many possibilities, tips and tricks. I just remember rules and others editing.

Books have always been a huge part of my world.

They were usually paperback or books you look at, picture books ( I include coffee table books in that category) and exhibition catalogues. I come from a generation pre the tablet. I love both. Every inch of the flat has books and magazines stacked and racked.

Learning how some typefaces are easier to read and some have other qualities led me into talking to my husband who once taught Caligraphy he loves to point out the Steve Jobs connection. (tap for link).

I had forgotten a lot and so much has changed since the day of Quark and and Letraset, hell I remember typesetting.

So lovely to have so much control, still rules, I have downloaded the presentation and am reviewing my notes.

Still two typefaces, and remember the reader.
