We met at the Tate Modern. I took the boat. The reception is good on board, they have a cafe and I dont have to think about traffic. I arrived at the Tate and found my launch team on the second floor splayed accross the sofas deep in project development, reflecting on and evaluating our current draft we are in finalisation mode
The Tate was a good choice as about equidistant from each of our homes and inspirationally a good place to work with wi fi.
We moved to tables in the cafe to critically asses our various publication pages, introduction, personal contributions and finalise the layout.
We rang around the printers to check quotes for the various ideas we had produced and by 13.00 we had re researched and confirmed:
- Layout – checked and confirmed pages numbered.
- Images – submitted by airdrop in folders.
- Fonts – Agreed-Avenir & Minion.
- Binding – perfect bound.
- Formats – indesign and PDF. Word for submissions.
- Citations – checked.

I would love to have a launch stand like this.
We talked about the launch;
- back drops,
- book marks,
- cards.
- promo. material.
- We looked at some z folds.
We decided that once we know where we are launching we can plan. As a back up I am getting printouts of the art book which may be used to create a display back drop if necessary and I have all my fair exhibiting stands, tables clothes etc if we need any.
We loaded up the completed and proof read files ready for submissions on Thursday. I have noticed that we need to submit each pieces of writing on Turin too.
Finally we loaded up a digital copy to check it.
