Corona virus, Art and Lockdown

There is no hot spot map for the UK.

The enemy from early February it caught my attention early on.

Every virus/ crisis that has ever been contained has had a hot spot map. Mark Bradford taught me that, along with W.H.O.

The UK needs hot spot maps to work out why this virus affects some more than others and to contain and trace it.

Cerbarus was about zenafobia ….they were landscapes. They were about sitings, though the trees and from the air.

Visual maps. I think the exhibition at Hauser and Wirth was a grouping, a grouping of work about places where things had happened. Where deaths had happened where lives were changed, similar to the way Edmund de Waal groups his pots and installations.

Hauser and Wirth are doing some amazing Lockdown upgrades. Inspirational.
