My Final RCA Assessment- thoughts planes.

In my final assessment, Adam, my tutor pointed out that I’m using another artist methods to express my thoughts and reflect, Yes I’m using their methodologies I see that and I see the riso prints were me, my methodology. I took the tearing and sticking and put it on one plane. Amy Stillman did that, I enjoyed the way she did that. I need to place my work on a plane rather than a surface which will allow me to work on both sides the surface will happen though the process. The side we see and the side unseen. I am still thinking about Amy Stillmans washing lines of black and yellow images, draped, mark Bradford films and large canvases, so large that we have to walk along them to see, Tapies, walls that have texture and bits we recognise -We are draw in to them, curious and the art happens. I wonder in this time of Covid-19 what art will happen, and how will surfaces play a part?
