It is Sunday and I received an email from one of my favourite shops in all the the world I drift in to a world of brightly coloured candied fruit, tea, chocolate, marzipan and plum pudding. The smells I imagine take me back to childhood, a lovely little utopian moment.

To think F & M started with candles, another Christmas smell I love.

So I did most of my Christmas gift shopping, truly a magical experience even the confirmation email was perfect.

Then….. an email, so strange, this floor has been stalking my thoughts and dreams for weeks, it has to be a sign. ”Please don’t ignore me” – a multitude of beautiful stones arranged like brightly coloured sweets, it is magical and I can smell the Christmas incense, frankincense and myrrh. Planets aline, stars shine and Christmas begins. Synchronicity and synergy wins out on this Sunday a little more than a month before Christmas, let the festivities begin Peace on earth and goodwill to all men.

Now that feels like a Shakespearian quote rather than St.Luke, the patron saint of painters.
