I need to wring an outcome from my projects, one that uses both contemporary research and analysis which I has been integrated in to my studio practice.

To do this my plan needs to be clearer.
I must critically assess what it is I’m doing and discovering, noting any learning, advice and feed back I receive. This must be documented and evidenced.
Consistently.
I must discard unwanted pathways and irrelevant information regularly so as not to be come bogged down.
I failed to find resolved final outcomes that fulfilled my original intentions in the last three projects due to my lack of focus and becoming buried, I tried to cover too many bases. This gave me too many options and avenues/ adventures to follow and did not allow me to prepare my final pieces.
I need to focus earlier.
Daily note taking -discarding any fruitless paths- should allow me to concentrate on realistic potential outcomes which I may then research both experimentally and in context with my chosen pathway.
This should speed up my process and allow me to push further in to the research and find a more resolved final outcome.
