Stage 1: Crit. Feed back. Module 4 – Portfolio.

My portfolio just ticked boxes. Now I look at it, it is just a starting point and I need to dismantle and reassemble it from an objective position akin to the redrafting of my essays.

It was a very different type of presentation that I haven’t considered before. It was like an exhibition in its self. It reminded me of the Friday “curating a museum” workshop we did, times 15 pages.

I procrastinated until the very last moment but I did finally grasp that it could be a vehicle to present my work in an insiteful and critical way.

I was happier with the tecnical side of indesign, a few of the images and explanations, but I think I can make big improvements.

I need to include supporting, work showing and describing the journey taken concisely.

I need to show method and process and improve the quality of the images.

It should include and record all my work and then be objectivly edited to create a cohesive journey though my practise. It may meander it may be very blue but it must have a bit more than a few pictures with explanations.

It needs something, currently draft is rather flat with bits missing.

Should have painted it , should have included it.
